Speech and language therapist, lecturer and lead author of the Nuffield Dyspraxia Programme (NDP- 3rd edition).
Pam retired from her clinical post as Consultant Speech and Language Therapist at the Nuffield Hearing and Speech Centre, at the end of 2017. She was involved in creating the original Nuffield Dyspraxia Programme (NDP), published in 1985. Following this, Pam co-authored and edited the current NDP (3rd edition) with her colleague Hilary Stephens.
Pam has lectured widely in the UK, Ireland, Europe and Australia. She continues to run training workshops on the subject of NDP3 and childhood apraxia of speech. Pam was a member of the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists’ (RCSLT) project team that produced the original (2011) Policy Statement on Developmental Verbal Dyspraxia and more recently the RCSLT (2024) Position Paper on Childhood Apraxia of Speech and the updated Speech Sound Disorders Guidance.
Pam was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists in 2013 and is a former chair of the UK Dyspraxia Foundation Charity. She is a current member of the Child Speech Disorder Research Network for the UK and Ireland.

Pam aposentou-se de seu cargo clínico como Terapeuta Consultora de Fala e Linguagem no Nuffield Hearing and Speech Centre no final de 2017. Ela esteve envolvida na criação do Programa de Dispraxia Nuffield (NDP) original, publicado em 1985. Posteriormente, Pam foi coautora e editora do atual NDP (3ª edição) com sua colega Hilary Stephens.
Pam lecionou extensivamente no Reino Unido, Irlanda, Europa e Austrália. Ela continua a ministrar workshops de treinamento sobre o tema NDP3 e apraxia da fala na infância. Pam recebeu uma bolsa do Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists em 2013 e é ex-presidente da instituição de caridade UK Dyspraxia Foundation. Atualmente, ela é membro da Child Speech Disorder Research Network para o Reino Unido e a Irlanda.
